When we stumbled across these 3-4” plum-colored blooms in an isolated corner of our garden, we were amazed we hadn’t noticed it before. It was instantly recognized as one of our best purple/lavender varieties. Semi-compact to medium habit and densely branched tree. Grape scent. Bonus points if you can figure out the origins of the name without googling it.
